  1. So very useful

    Posted by Barry D

As a professional sailor, instructor, coach and general manager of a performance oriented sailing school, I have a lot of jackets!!! Various boat owners and vendors see to it. We outfitted our Pacific Cup racing team with Atlantis Watch Jackets last year - and ourselves - and this is the jacket we wear "at the office" in San Francisco - nearly every day of the year. We use "real" waterproof gear like Aegis for on-the-water teaching and racing, but for moving boats and around the docks this jacket rocks. So we ordered 9 more for our Transpac crew this year!

  2. Excellent both dockside and afloat

The Watch jacket is both stylish and comfortable, as well as very functional. It fills the gap between just a nylon shell and a nylon shelled mid-weiught fleece jacket, so it is ideal for those Spring and Autumn days when the temperature is in the 60s (15 to 20 degrees Centigrade), and on deck in the summer when the breeze off the water is considerably colder than the air temperature. Plus, with the soft polyester lining you can wear it over a short sleeved shirt or polo. I plan on wearing mine on the flybridge, in the umpire boat and around town.
