The ultimate dinghy top is also the ultimate bowman’s top. If you spend any time with water coming at you from random directions, this is the one piece you need, and you won’t find a better value for this price. It’s huge kangaroo pocket holds anything you can think of putting in there, the zippers are located in just the right place if you’re wearing a PFD or harness.

Aegis: Designed for versatility to cover a broad range of applications and conditions from inshore dinghy racing to offshore big boat sailing, the Aegis range includes every innovative bell and whistle we could think of (except for actual bells and whistles). Best in cooler conditions because, while there is no insulation and the fabric is highly breathable, it is designed with protection in mind. For cold weather sailing, add mid-layers (Zephyr, Flying Point Fleece) to achieve warmth without weight.

    I use this jacket for everything from small boat racing to "Big Boats" on San Francisco Bay. Love the simplicity.

    The "weight" of the waterproof, breathable fabric is just right. There a now "extras" to weight the top down and the pocket is plenty big for a VHF radio and a copy of SIs.

    I wear a Spinlock Zero underneath, and love the combo.
